THANK GOODNESS I MOVED THE PEONIES
“The fattest and most scrumptious of all flowers, a rare fusion of fluff and majesty, the peony is now coming into bloom.”
Henry Mitchell, American writer (1923-93)
Two years at the end of this month, May, we moved to the ‘Cottage for Two’ and began a new garden. One of the things I brought with me were some peonies. At that time I wrote a post I hope you have time to read. Here is the link: http://stephenyhoughtlin.com/2013/05/16/moving-peonies-in-an-act-of-faith/
I spent a few minutes photographing the peonies this afternoon on a perfect North Carolina spring day. The lead photo is why I named this post what I have….thank goodness. Have a glass of sweet tea, let me show you a section of today’s garden that I hope adds to the curb appeal.
